Going to FGR on Saturday? If you have mobility issues or are disabled, contact the club in advance:

Ring 01453 837 431 or e-mail reception@fgrfc.com heading your message DISABILITY (They of all people are very sensitive to this.)

They will put you in with their own supporters but that’s surely better than the alternative - particularly if, yet again, it rains on the day.

I went last year and the feedback I got from the editor of D3D4 football was as follows after a few days:

“Just an update for you. Your FGR article has had over 2,100 reads which is the record for an article on D3D4 Football so well done, it was a well thought out engaging piece with excellent photos.”

He’s told me subsequently that supporters new to the Forest Green Experience – Oldham Athletic for instance - keep pushing the total number of hits on the article ever upwards, which is very gratifying.

No idea what to expect?

Read this, then:

I think having to be with the home fans is probably as bad as being out in the open! Surely the roof they erected over part of the away section during the summer could've covered a designated away disabled fans area with ease?

After seeing it today I'm not sure it would cover anything with ease! Probably very welcome in poor weather, but it could barely be considered a stand. Looked almost comical, I think disabled fans would likely have to be hosted in the home end still.
