Oswell starts tonight

Jim must be listening to the fans.
Thommo and Kevin also start but Mandy is on the bench.
Mark retains his place in goals

Let's not over react if Jason doesn't get a goal tonight. The lad needs a good run and plenty of support. Remember, it's either him or Oliver!

Nonsense! Anything less than a hat-trick and he can go back to Stockport!!!

What tosh do you prefer a striker that has scored less goals in the last 4 years than Jason scored last season and has only scored 39 goals in his career since 2010. Give the boy a fair crack of the whip and play oliver in the local pub team I am sure they will have him if their 26 stone striker is too hung over to play.

I thought putting a hat-trick would have been enough for anyone to realise I was joking! Apparently not!

No apparently not. Maybe that’s because you are objectionable and reading your contributions of late would cause an argument in an empty house. Or am I still delusional

Oswell? Couldn’t really see his movement off the ball on ifollow, but wasn’t a convincing game from him tonight, from what I could see. Looks like a “spirited” character, not a bad thing if controlled. More starts and game time, will allow for a fuller, more rounded assessment.
Boring as it may be to some, but I repeat.....we are a better, more threatening side with Mandeville playing.
2-0, a bit harsh in the end I think.

No doubt it will be the same old, same old on Saturday.

Jim has listened but will probably say that he got his chance but will continue to prefer Oliver....

Oswell needs more game time, after all Oliver has had a season and nearly a half to prove he's worth playing but the manager still picks him despite a pathetic scoring record. :(

I'd agree with all of that assessment. Oliver created more after he came on than Oswell did. Having said that, I'd rather Mandeville had been on while Oswell was and Thommo on while Oliver was as Mandeville may have created more space for Oswell and Thommo crossing for Oliver?

The notion that , should the worst supported , lowest paying club in league football manage to cling on to an even moderately prolific young striker if they stumbled upon one is laughable.

From what I've seen the problem has been with the other forwards not helping Oliver. I will qualify that with saying I watch probably one in three games. He wins most headers, he runs tirelessly and yet the other forwards never get the flick on or second ball.

Leitch-smith's decision making has been awful, Mandeville has been anonymous (especially when given a kick), and Oates was full of running but short on quality.

Like Arseholes, opinions eh.....

Opinions are as you say SS, quite right too. On yours though, not much hope for The Shrimps in Lge2. Based on watching all home games, and as many away games as possible. For me, your assessment of L-S, M and O is not justified, and only relevant to certain points in certain games, not overall.
Much fairer points with regard Oliver, but again, winning headers is great as long as they have direction and purpose, some of his do, some don’t.
Every game is different for all players, and all fans opinions. Keep them coming.

Which Saturday is that then? We have our usual FA cup day off dont we :(

We were looking happy at 0.0, they bring 2 subs on and score 2, we bring Oliver on who I must say made a difference, but we need someone who can shoot - and straight!
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Maybe time for both Oswell and Oliver to start together. After all Jim has tried nearly every other combination.

please remember Keith attacked me first so I reserve the right of reply. My opinion is that everyone should bring something to a debate and I think you should bring silence.
