Consecutive matches attended

Postby Seasider9601 » Wed Dec 05, 2018 12:36 pm

A Swindon Town fan has just clocked up his 2000th consecutive match......!!

Who holds the record for consecutive Morecambe matches?

I suspect Outsider will be in the front running for this?

Are they counting both home and away or just home games.

I don't think any team would have 2,000 home matches in 37 years

This is a good point between 2002 and 2015 I never missed a single home match , but only attended a few away matches.

I never missed a match for 10 seasons and that included going to Kidderminster for a 7 aside tournament.

He hasn't, good effort though , ever since my kids were old enough to go to football I took them to watch Morecambe if they fancied it because they were all born here, my youngest was the only regular and they are all grown up now though , so I used to bring my father in law , a former player, they clubbed together 4 years ago to buy me a Burnley season ticket when I wasn't well , I have been very lucky fixture wise over the last few years and only missed a handful of games for either side.

Burnley and Morecambe are very similar actually , small town clubs punching above their weight with fans who's expectations exceed their buying power
