My sisters grandson adores Christie the Cat and she has asked

1. who has performed to date in the outfit and do they get payed or is it done voluntarily?
2. who has made the most appearances and which person in the outfit entertained the best and was/is the fans favourite?
3. have they settled in at their new home at the Globe and do they find it purrrfect?

Who is the cat? I'm shocked! The festive season is fast approaching and a big bloke in a red suit will be turning up, he's santa Claus. The cat is the cat!! D&R match at Christie was amusing when he interacted with their keeper. Of course there is the penalty he took there too! :D

Who has performed as the cat is he not real? I.always thought he lived in the bootroom and Les fed him.

When he was a young kitten he was at his best full of energy and mischief. He used to prowl round christie Park marking his territory and putting off the opposition.

I'm not sure he settled in well at the Globe he seemed to go missing for long spells maybe be was out running wild trying to get back to CP or maybe his new surroundings underneath the PMG were to comfy and he couldn't bring himself to leave his bed to watch the dull games been served up.

Is our home form linked to the none appearances of the cat?

He needs to be back prowling the touchline and scarring off the opposition and getting into the minds of their goalkeepers.

Maybe he is getting old now he must be nearly 10 do we need a new younger lively kitten to replace him.

Didn't an away player once run past him and Nick his tail?....or was it Kev?......cant remember, it was funny though, remember him getting in the drivers seat of the MFC bus for a photo shoot and getting stuck at Christie Park, he did well to survive and carry on at the Globe given the chairman's disdain for all things "Christie".....

Really pleased to hear that your sister’s grandson adores Christie, and is a Shrimps fan, hopefully. Bless him.

That aside, there is obviously only one direction, that you intended this post to go, AGAIN. Enjoy. ;)
Thankfully, with the thread being started by yourself, it gives others the option to ignore, and not read it. My mistake.

Firstly her grandson is NOT a shrimps fan but loves CtC

I find the remainder of your personal attack offensive, unfriendly and sadly typical of the toxic negative culture of this forum where the rules of engagement are not enforced consistently.

I'm pretty sure that was Martin, the original cat, taking the penalty

It was, the best comedic cat we've ever had but there's been plenty of others wearing the outfit, including players and someone I sit next to every working day.

So let’s get this straight K. You are not a Morecambe(Shrimps) supporter, oh sorry, not anymore. You start a thread using a family member, who you want to make clear is “NOT a Shrimps fan,” You then choose to come on a forum called Shrimps Voices, and feel you have the right to fill it with as much negative comment as you possibly can. The clue is in the forum name, and that is most definitely not you. Maybe you could start a thread....Former(?) Shrimps Voices, so I for one, and others I’m sure, can enjoy the football banter, and more balanced veiws offered by most on here, and not have to put up with your self opinionated version.

Now that was funny. Haven't seen the bus around for a while, does anyone know if it's still MFC branded?
