Tutte and Wildig

Both Tutte and Wildig are influential midfielders but miss loads of games. No argument that we are a better team when they play but they both miss as many games as they play. Do they both have permanent injuries that need nursing through the season? They are both receiving valuable wages for few games that could be used to employ other players who could perhaps give us more game time.

Wildig is by far the best player we have, the only reason we have kept him is he is settled here. He makes a massive difference and Tutte looks like a future midfield general. But as you said both suffer from injuries, both of them get fouled a lot.

Wildig is given rough treatment by every team we play so no surprise he misses games.

It seems to be a problem we have had for years, if we get a good player on low wages it is because he is injury prone and has been released so we hope for the best. I think this idea is also supported by the number of players who can't train on artifical surfaces, presumably because of dodgy knees, being unable to make tight turns etc.
