Bit surprised by four changes after a good 3-0 win. Unless Oswell picked up a knock, I think he's unlucky to not start. Oswell & Oliver played well together and caused their defence all kinds of problems. Looks like we're going back to one up front after two up front worked well? Hmm...

Perhaps going to defend for a point? Although the OWS is suggesting we're 4-4-2, with AJ amd Oliver up front. Good to see Mills back in and Thommo back on the bench, and good that we are able to make use of the squad. COYS's!

Can see what Jim is doing.

Yarney) a C/ B who's been at R/B is a good stopper but not as good as Mills going forward.

Tutte) will be on an high and no question of his ability, just hope he can stay fit and have a good run in the team.

Smithy) for Oswell will be tactical, Smithy is an all round footballer, can play deep, high up, or go out wide, basically more skill-full.

Be an hard game, i'd take a point now.

Stockton could [should] have had a second on eight minutes. Fortunately he scuffed the shot. Not in this yet.

Sadly... Trying to watch the game and post here at the same time.

2-0 now. We're looking poor. Rubbish defending. Change something or we're going to get mullered again

As Keith rightly said, we’ve changed a winning formula of Oswell and Vadaine upfront for sticking Vadaine on his own up top - obviously it’s been our defence at fault again (Yarney helped tighten up the defence at right back recently) but players should be rewarded for a good win, not benched.

They look like they were all pissed.

When I saw the line up, I thought about changing my prediction in the prediction competition, because that was back to our previous style. I wish I had. Individually, yes, the players coming in are probably better, but after a 3-0 win, keep the same line-up and let the players on the bench fight to come in. Instead, we made changes and have managed one long range shot on target in the first half. Lots of pretty play in midfield, where Tranmere are happy for us to knock it sideways and backwards, but zero threat up front and slow movement. Tranmere defending well, then breaking purposefully. Fully deserved 3-0.

According to the stats we committed no fouls in the first half. Are we too nice ?

Is Baz injured again as he isn't on the bench.

This is my main problem with Jim he seems more fixated with the oppositions strengths rather than focusing on our own. Why persevere with one up from which has rarely worked and why make 4 changes from a winning line up?!!

Too ponderous to get close enough to commit a foul.
Baz hurt his wrist while wrapping Christmas presents (part of that sentence may be a fib).

Exactly! Tranmere had lost three out of their previous four and have a big FA Cup game coming up. We scored three at the weekend. They should have been worried about us, not the other way around.

First ten minutes of the second half, they've had the better chances. A-Jay with a turn and weak shot. Other than that, we aren't offering anything.

Tutte off for Kenyon
Oates on for Ellison.

Still Oliver up front on his own.

WHAT A CRACKER!

Cranston with a 25+ yard strike from the left wing, rocketing in to the top corner! Thirty seconds earlier Cranston had made a superb cross to A-Jay, but it wasn't taken forward, went sideways and then back to Jordan. He must have thought 'sod it, if no one is going to have a go, no point crossing!'

Better since the changes were made, but we've woken Tranmere up too!

I'd bring Oswell on for either A-Jay or Mandy ASAP. Neither A-Jay or Liam look threatening or productive, although both working hard.
