Hi guys , Grimsby fan here - just wondered how he’s getting on with you ? Was a good lad when with us and I though he was unfortunate to be let go . All the best for the rest of the Season . Harry

Hi Grimsby Haddock

Zac is doing really well. If we were nominating player of the season now he would be one of the contenders. He has solved our right back problem after we lost Aaron McGowan to Hamilton Academicals last Summer.

Good going forward good on the ball decent tackler too, but makes a lot of mistakes though, gave away a penalty last weekend.

Everytime i see him play i always think he'd make a good defencive midfielder.

I like Zak, brings himself across well. Didn't start his time here brilliantly, but has now settled in to being one of our better players, it was noticeable when he wasn't available to play.
Gets on with the job, is good going forward and even after he gave the pen away this week, he still turned up in the Local Choice after the game, fair play to the lad

Send us some more please

Yup, totally agree. Lavelle, Cranston or Mills are probably our best performing players so far this season. Zac's given away a couple of silly penalties but that aside, and one poor game when he was coming back from injury, he's been outstanding in my opinion.

Summed up pretty much by the previous 4 posts. Zac has proven to be a great signing for Morecambe so far this season. I don’t agree that he “makes a lot of mistakes,” not faultless by any means, but we are much stronger and tighter at the back, with him in the team. IMHO.

Thanks for the replies . Glad he’s doing well.... we haven’t got any more , our squad is pretty thin this season ... Surely Kevin Ellison must be one of the oldest players still operating to ?
Will look out for your results for the rest of the season . Harry

Was superb today in Midfield, like Cranston a former Full-Back, as the attributes to make an even better player in Midfield.
