Vadaine Oliver

What's happened to Vadaine? I know plenty of people here have their opinions on him, but he's gone from starting nearly every game, to being left out of the squad entirely even when we're desperate for strikers.

Is he injured and I've just not heard about it?

Taking delight in injury on any Morecambe player, no matter what you think of his performance so far, is quite simply pathetic.

Oliver was walking around and up the stairs no problem in C section this saturday.

So obviously not as bad a Smithy who's long term on crutches and out for the season.

Good player, needs support up front.

Oliver is not a bad player, he plays a lone striker role which is tough and a thankless task
Anyone who has played the game knows how tough it is.

Bennett and Oliver together COULD be useful BUT will JB play both together, if he does it's a departure from the single man up top which is getting us nowhere.

Everything to gain by being bold.... :) :) :)

Not unless we start putting the ball in the box with a bit of quality

There was a short clip on Instagram Stories at the weekend that showed Oliver and Flemo doing runs together. Physio was saying the outfield players were doing six two-minute runs and Baz was doing four (I think that's what he said)
So anyone who knows about physio (not me), that's how far along their recovery is.

Out for two months:

https://www.morecambefc.com/news/2019/january/vadaine-oliver-injury/

So that now means we've lost our two main strikers from the first half of the season to injury.

With Oswell, Piggott and Tompson gone, we now only have Ellison, Oates and Bennett as options up top... I sincerely hope that Bennett's loan doesn't have a recall clause!
HOWAY THE SHRIMPS!!!!!

On topic(ish) and proud!
