Jim should stay and the players are good some of the time

No-one is saying we wouldn't 'find' another manager. The debate should be around how good a job Jim has done compared to someone else. Could someone else put up with all the off-field trauma that we have been through in the last few years? Players (& management) repeatedly not being paid? Jim apparently agreeing to re-sign Devitt & Miller, only for a director to decide to reduce their pay, and offer them less than they'd been on the season before? No-one knowing who owned the club? No training facilities? Ever reduced budget? Best player sold for less than he was worth in order to pay players? etc... etc... etc...

You mention Port Vale as an example. They've had nine managers in the time that we've only had Jim. In that time, they've had one promotion & one relegation, last season finishing in 20th place in League Two despite an average attendance of 4,583.

Changing managers doesn't necessarily bring success. Chopping & changing managers frequently brings failure. Look at Notts County. Surely you aren't suggesting that we're as big as County or Vale? Look at the clubs that are bigger than us but been relegated while we've stayed up.

What do you think we should be doing on our budget & facilities?

I agree. Also, we have some half decent players this season.

Totally agree Freez. There's been enough negativity on here and FB over the last few weeks. Anyone who has to recruit staff as part of their job will understand the difficulties Jim faces all the time and just when he thinks he's sorted it, another injury and back to square one. Some of his decisions frustrate the hell out of me, but overall I think he does a great job with what he has.

Ok,Voiceoftheshimps (though clearly not), so who do you propose should manage instead of Jim? Who is the leader that will produce a side able to storm to the top of the division?

Who will be more successful in dealing with the sub par training facilities, limited budget compared to rivals, the recent off-field instability (and very possibly future), and all the other issues mentioned in recent threads that Jim has to deal with, while at the same time having full support of the dressing room?

Please...name that miracle worker!

As far as I can see, you are the type of person who has a destructive, negative outlook by constantly criticising, but who is completely unable to offer a constructive, feasible, alternative solution.

So, tell us, who will do a much better job under the circumstances mentioned?

“Anyone, we will have people apply”

“Anyone will do a better job”

“Haven’t won in ages”

“Look at accrington”

“But but but brexit”

I wouldn’t bother, it’s like playing chess with a pigeon

It's not Brexit, we're facing Flexit! We just need to hope we can catch Yeovil and Notts County's influx of players doesn't work for them! Sol has got Macc on our coattails so it will be close!

No Pascha! Don't bite!!!

This is how they'll turn every thread in to a 'Jim Out' thread! Even one where Bare Bum is clearly taking the piss, they'll still plough through with their one track agenda...

Apologies, you're right. The trolls are better ignored.
