Our average home gate overall, this season, it would appear our relegation battle is putting bums on seats

Hope you have triple checked your figures mrpot. If not, you know what’s coming.

1976, wasn't that the year of a very long summer and the drought? Didn't we have a special minister for water?

I feel this has been inflated by large away support from Oldham, Tranmere, Carlisle, Bury and Lincoln.
Tomorrows gate will be low, potentially the lowest of the season so far with a paltry away following from FGR.

Of course it's inflated by the above , we need the away fans and being up north we often get low away numbers . The way it's looking at the moment (providing we stay in the league ) we will lose bury and Lincoln but get back the mighty Bradfud and Rochdale

The simple answer to the "negative neds" is, on a season we have low attendances it's because of the badly supported away teams fans, you can't have your cake and eat it girls

I would like to suggest that some of us do a headcount tomorrow.one for each area of the ground. Then we can tally up how accurate the official figure is.In my opinion our home attendances are being inflated by 400 each time! I will count the wall

And why would they want to overstate the club's attendances, so they could give the EFL more money?
That explains all the annual losses

I was always surprised the club announced the two sub 1000 attendances last season, which went as low as a paltry 800!!

Depends on their away support, but I think we might pinch just over 1000.
Would love to attend that game but work commitments prevent me from doing so.....

The tax man would be happy if we declared 20,000 each week! Over stating the crowd for 'pride' or 'vanity' then paying for the pleasure of doing so...
