One of the lead candidates for CHANGE UK (The Independent Group) has just messaged that JEREMY CLARKSON is a REMAINER and supports staying in the EU.
That can't be true can It?

Just for the sake of political balance, Gina Dowding the lead candidate of the Greens is a local Lancaster woman and formidable politician and very likely to be one of the 8 new MEPs for the North West.

I doubt she'll be acknowledging "petrol-head" Clarkson's support for the EU / REMAIN cause (assuming it is true of course)

However, if we had a top player whose contract at MFC was ending called Jeremy Clarkson and, against all expectations, he announced passionately that he wanted to REMAIN part of Morecambe FC, then I can see that my headline (without O/T) may have been confusing to SVers.

It's not surprising really. He's an intelligent bloke.
He puts on the idiot act and spouts rubbish to appeal to his audience. It's all just a persona. He's done quite well out of it financially.

ALso travels widely in Europe (and elsewhere) and has a bit of an interest in cars, so presumably quite likes the car manufacturing industry.
