as i work nights i thought i would just take a quick check on the weather forecast for the next twelve hours.....according to radio lancs at six o clock there is more snow expected tonight with temps dropping down to minus 4 surely the game as got to be in doubt tomorrow night

The forecast for Morecambe tonight is a minimum temperature of 1 degree celsius and light snow showers, Tuesday light rain, so based on that we should be ok, hopefully.

Been snowing steadily in East Lancs for about the last five hours what it like up in Morecambe land anybody. Forecast is for more overnight any ideas when game will be declared on or off?

Christie Avenue watch: Curtains have been shut for a few hours but looking out just now, if it has been snowing then it's melted because the cars are just wet.

Not been snowing in Morecambe/Lancaster/Heysham/Carnforth tonight. Hope the ground staff can sort out the pitch for tomorrow!

they are under enormous pressure to get the bolton game on....

WEATHER UPDATE....as of now 02.15 half way through my night shift - just had the gritter on site as temp at mo is minus 2 but been no snow as of yet....

Still no snow at 6.30 and no frost either. Looking good!

temps meant to drop down to minus 5 tonight as just been reported on radio lancs....so this could be another problem to contend with

Christie Ave update: Car temp 2C (no - sign) at 7am, windscreen wet, front lawn still soft and no sign of ice or frost.

Snow in Lancaster!!! On the bonnet of a mates car who travels in from Burnley. Preston to Lancaster, roads completely clear according to colleagues. AA road watch says no traffic problems on the M6 apart from congestion south of preston. Weather problems on the M1 are north of the M6 junction and the alternative M40 route is clear. Finally, the pitch looked nice and green at 8am.

Is there a pitch inspection?

If not I assume there will be an announcement to Brentford fans before 1230 when they set off??
