Noticed on the latest video taken from the training ground that there appears to be a new member of the training staff (also appeared in the first video working alongside Mark) .

He has the initials OH on his clothing. Anybody know who he is and what his role will be in our club?

A member of the backroom staff left the club at the end of the season after 10 years here so maybe a replacement for him.

Is the Co Chairmans son part of the medical team now? I think he worked in the club shop once over but I am sure I saw him in a couple of the latest videos.

Yes Oliver Howse 1st team Physio replaced was it Gareth that left.

He was working with Barrow last season.

I, rather amusingly I thought, posted a picture of Oliver Hardy (you see he has the initials OH) whispering advice in a still from the 1932 movie The Chimp and suggested his role was "advisory"............


Once over I'd have received a flood of a smilie accolade. What's happening to the world? Keith, do you know?

Obviously any idea it is Oliver Hardy is frankly ridiculous and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

It is actually Ottmar Hitzfeld the former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich manager offering us some assistance in the new season. Nice work Essex boys!

If it helps, I had a mild titter. Not a full on Laugh Out Loud, but a worthwhile smile nonetheless.

.....and who can blame him after all the crap both he and Rod have to put up with from an owner who couldn't care less about the future of the club other than the money he makes out of loans charging we suspect exorbitant interest rates.

Wouldn't blame Rod from calling it a day also.....

Problem is who will replace them knowing that they have to deal day to day with an absent owner.
