The lads are spending the week away from our new training base and are using the rural retreat of Myerscough College near Garstang.

The last time we used the location on a regular basis was under the management of Jim Harvey before the club turned Full Time I think.

Yes 5 blurred faces, possibly those on trial. We know that Max Clayton is probably one of them.

Doesn't appear to be Ainsworth amongst them.

After reading a post on facebook, one is possibly Jack Redshaw.

I think Max Clayton is now training at Stevenage.

With the signing of John O'Sullivan we are covered in respect of a number 7. I thought Ainsworth was training at Port Vale this week , could be wrong about that.

Could one of them be Shaun Miller ?

Looks a great buzz in the camp. I don't think you can fake that. Looks a genuine motivated and fun group.

For the past 5 years I've been tempted to put money on us getting a top 7 finish and been glad at the end of the season as I'd have lost :) This year I'm tempted again at odds of 10/1

Interesting some of the names being touted as to who are the 5 masked trialists.

Jack Redshaw and Shaun Miller amongst them.

By the sounds of it both Clayton and Ainsworth have decided to look elsewhere for a contract. So be it!

Personally as I've said on numerous occasions I hope that amongst them is a midfield supremo as I still feel the defense is still in need of some cover in front of them.

Overall JB and Co have worked very hard to bring in who they have to date, but we need at least 3 more in my opinion in various positions.

I think Redshaw is a strong contender to return to us.

Redshaw would be a massive massive gamble but if he could stay fit he would certainly get 10 plus goals so could be a gamble worth taking ....... MAYBE

Mmm! For me it would depend what we are paying him. Always felt Jack had the strikers natural instinct for moving into the right position but I never felt he was quite as good as others though he was.

IF he is one of the masked wonders then bearing in mind his fitness issues give him a 6 month contract with an option of a further 6 or even 18 assuming that both parties are happy with the situation about fitness issues etc.

I'd love to get him back but not at the risk of future injuries as a result of his former problems.

Our medical staff have to be 100% sure that his injuries will not rear their head again.

This is of course assuming that he is one of those currently being blocked out on the videos.

Probably more importantly there is no way that the club could match his former wages at Salford and no way should they even try.
