Was it not talked about a while ago of a small memorial garden at the ground to remember fans who have passed . This just came to mind following the sad untimely death of taxi John who I’m sure would Have loved to have a small memorial at the ground . Think it was mentioned following our trip to Coventry where they had a garden of rememberance for fans .

I think it would be a really nice idea.

A good idea but I'd worry about vandalism if it wasn't inside the main stadium.

Maybe a memory wall as part of improving things behind the home end?

A great suggestion and one that I hope takes off.

This coming Saturday's home game I intend to place an MFC scarf on the seat where John Trainor used to sit in memory of such a great man.

I understand the vandalism concern, but if the person being remembered usually sat in the stands, their families/friends would be a bit cut off from the memorial if it was behind the home end.
Maybe a space on the outside wall for memorial plaques, between JB's bar and the main entrance? Over time it would become a really nice feature, and might even help the Globe feel more of a 'fans' place.'

A little garden would also be lovely if the will to maintain it was there. It could be a way of reclaiming some of the wasteland between the noticeboard and the staff parking.

This is the one at Coventry City, outside the Ricoh Arena.

Although like somebody mentioned above I also would be concerned about Vandilisim, but thing is their Garden is open on non match days for Family and Friends to pay their respect, I first seen it on the Friday the day before we played them. :(
