Card only payment at Worcester Warriors to reduce queuing at refreshment counters. Also opening 2 new bars at the ground.

Do our owners seem to be putting all their "eggs" in one basket so to speak?

https://twitter.com/WorcsWarriors/statu ... 76544?s=19I wonder how one of these would look if they did it for a matchday at The Globe?

We had some superb matchday posters in our last season at Christie.

Well, we are only about 6 months from the end of their 2 year plan for Morecambe, aren't we?

I guess they are finding it tougher than they thought and probably hoping a buyer comes along soon, if so, let's hope they do the necessary checks.....

I would have thought a buyer might have come forward at the end of last season when our form and league position was riding relatively higher. We need to string a few wins together now to put ourselves in a better position.

Didn't they mention a couple of offers were made earlier in the season? A Canadian Hedge fund was mentioned.

Hedge funds want to make money - no point buying an English football team.

Colin said they weren't interested in selling to them and will look for the right buyer. I think he did an interview after the newspaper report about the club being put up for sale.
In other news, just over 6700 at Worcester Warriors tonight

Match was live on BT Sport and the commentary team were not happy with the newly installed floodlights, said they were well below the standard of other top rugby grounds! Would also question the crowd figure given, seems we have one thing in common, over inflated figures.

The nonsense of over inflated figures doesn't hold water, where is the advantage ?

Seems strange that as in JB's bar it's cash sales only! Only the prawn sandwich brigade can use cards upstairs!

New directors at WW with former Wycombe Wanderers general manager being brought in. Knows a lot about how a FL club should be run according to one of our owners. A bit of help our end wouldn't go a miss

I see Salford Reds eggchasers have made the grand final in the rugby league, not bad for the team with the lowest budget in their league! Even managed to beat the giants of Wigan to get there!! Our owners must be green with envy.

A certain group of ex Man Utd players, with the biggest budget in their league, might be.

They took more fans to the away game at Wigan than what they get for home games!!
They only manage about 3000 for a home game.
