At least Maamria knows the league, as a player and manager, whereas Banide hadn't got a clue. It has all happened remarkably quickly though! Sat with the Oldham fans on Saturday with my Oldham supporting mate so that should be interesting to say the least. Have to sit on my hands if we score (who said no chance), don't think they will be a happy bunch to say the least!

UTS.

Atleast, Zac Mills might get a game now, so missed at Morecambe and totally wasted at Oldham

That's true, but I suppose it depends whether the Lemsagems decide to pick him

Seriously though I wonder if the likes of him and Collins are now reflecting on their decision making abilities. First names on the team sheet at our gaff and out with the washing at their chosen destinations

Makes you wonder if Mills, Collins and Bennett had stayed, would Jimbo still be receiving both barrels from his detractors?
I think not!

Mills and Collins are a massive loss but Bennett is a myth. He started brilliantly but was bombed out after 4 or 5 games when Big V was preferred up front.

I think Jim only bombed Bennett out for the last couple of games and that was because he knew we wouldn't be signing him and he probably hoped Big V would sign a new contract.

Bennet was the best player out of that trio.

Bennett Bombed out? think it was more the case we were mathematically safe and Jim got wind he was signing elsewhere, so were no point playing him again.

Agree A, and quite rightly too.
