CYPRUS-SHRIMP to SHRIMP IN CYPRUS

Thanks to my stupidity I managed to lock myself out of my S.V. account.
Thanks to Keith's help I have managed to log in again, but now as "shrimp in cyprus" instead of "cyprus-shrimp".

Just wondering what other SVers take is on the loss of the togetherness, positivity, and enjoyment that was obvious in the squad on all the excellent pre-season videos. I really thought that that would carry forward and give us a great start to the season. OBVIOUSLY NOT!!!

I'm not sure that the "togetherness" is gone, more simply, confidence is shattered. No one wants the ball and when they have it, they don't know what to do with it, other than get rid as fast as possible! The notable exception on Saturday was A-Jay who was my MotM by a long way, despite only playing 45 minutes. Lewis did try to go forwards with the ball but no one was making space for him.

I think AJ Leitch-Smith should start, as should Jordan Cranston in a midfield role. I would also play Brewitt and Carlos Mendes Gomes....

Difficult to argue with that. Not sure where Brewitt's favoured position is though?

Brewitt for me also. Playing in midfield, I think he has shown some real potential. A gritty tackling, hardworking, confident, vocal young player.

I noticed Ken giving Brewitt a bollocking. Ken was going mad that Brewitt wasn't opening play up with forward passes.

What are your thoughts on Brewitt?

Only seen him the once, thought he looked decent on the ball. I fear he will fall in to the utility player role and never nail down a permanent position. You?

Hope he gets more game time.

Looking at some of the comments on this thread and elsewhere, I have always believed that you praise in public (when deserved) and bollock in private (when deserved). In that way you help to build confidence levels, not undermine them ............... and it seems that confidence levels need lifting right now.

Just wonder about some of the "man management" taking place at the club at the moment.
