Kevin and Baz

What a difference these made to the game plan and tactics yesterday which follows on from the news that certain players had grown unhappy with the training and tactics of JB.
It was for me the best 90 minutes we've seen at the Globe for a long time and although it appeared that Orient didn't play that well it was more down to our pressurizing and non stop work ethic that curtailed any match dominance that we have seen from the opposition on too many occasions.
I'm probably in the minority but for me I'd be delighted if the selection Board put off any decision about management until they have given both Kevin and Baz an extended run to see if they can repeat yesterdays performance on a regular basis for the rest of this season.
It would appear that they have the backing of the players which is super critical as we battle for our continued EFL status'
Other SVers may disagree and would prefer an outsider (please NOT Brian McDermott who I would suggest is an option put forward by our owners and one that I suspect is not appreciated by the home based Board) but given our position any new appointment would have to assess the squad before making changes which could by then see us well and truly in the poo.
Kevin in particular showed a different side to his character, no longer the joke maker, more a thoughtful tactician who encouraged the players to take the game to the opposition whilst Baz was the silent observer passing instructions as was necessary.
It's sometimes better to stick with what you know ( ie Kevin and Baz) than introduce an unknown especially in our financial position where we are constantly reminded that we have no money for squad improvements or has that been a ruse by the owners to enusure that JB resigned.....
