Their time to impress DA who no doubt will be looking on.
Also a chance for some of our youngsters also to impress especially Carlos and Jagne....

Carlisle have just lost their manager. Perhaps there's someone there for their players to impress as well?

Game finishes 4 - 0 to the Cumbrians
Good minutes for players such as Miller and Leitch-Smith

We fielded quite a strong side on paper. They must all be tired out after the new training regime

There wasn't much cover in front of him though.
How did Mendes-Gomes miss that chance !

Absolute woeful defending , from those highlights looked like nobody could be arsed trying to impress the new boss.

Seems as if the new boss already has his strongest team in use........with very little to challenge them!
Which means replacements will be needed when the loanees go back to their clubs. We'll just have to hope for no injuries....or suspensions.

Wonder how Kev and Baz feel now, after dropping themselves (honourably), whilst in temporary charge, and now find themselves in the reserves and only in the fringes of the playing side.

And could easily find themselves surplus to requirements once their contracts expire. I seem to remember that they wanted to keep on playing.... but it could well be in a lower league.

I would hope Baz could be appointed the next Goalkeeper coach after Lee Jones left for AFC Fylde.
I think Baz did a degree in sports journalism so he has prepared himself for the day when he hangs up his gloves.
