Obviously a new coach would have been an extra wage to pay for out of the given budget what can now be spent on a player instead.

Pleased for John in particular as he was the team captain when I sponsored a game so many moons past and still got the photo of him and myself on a snow covered pitch at Christie Park.
Really am pleased with both these appointments.

Posted: Fri Nov 22, 2019 7:43 pmFrom what I have read here on SV and heard elsewhere, the appointment of J Mc is an excellent one by Derek Adams. Not only has he got an excellent astute assistant who already knows the players well, but he has also successfully "bought into" the MFC family, and it really feels like an excellent appointment.
Baz was a rather more obvious one, but nonetheless very welcome.
