Having already had a defective Hotpoint tumble dryer fixed, I checked my Hotpoint washing machinemodel with trepidation - but luckily mine is not one of the affected models this time.

It certainly puts you off buying any further Hotpoint/Whirlpool/Indesit devices in the future!
