Would be renewing our local rivalry if Barrow get promoted from the National assuming that their ground meets the EFL Criteria.
Yesterday's gate of 3260 shows that they have the support of the Barrow public. Only 126 from AFC Fylde which for a Boxing Day away support isn't that good in my opinion.

If we stop up then definitely want them up with us.If we go down then I hope they stop where they are. If we can't have a true derby against Lancaster then Barrow is the next best thing. Always used to be 'interesting' affairs against them and one team we seemed to have a good record against back in the day.

Another club in the National League promotion battle are former EFL club are Stockport County who took 1250 fans to AFC Fylde yesterday and came back from 1-0 down at H/T to win the game 2-1 which puts AFC in a relegation battle.

I’m a Barrow fan who goes to Morecambe home matches when Barrow are playing away. It’s in both clubs interests if they’re playing in the same League next season and fingers crossed it will be League Two.
Today (New Year’s Day) Barrow took more than a thousand supporters to their away game at AFC Fylde so you could expect a similar number to turn up at the Globe and with the possibility of Bolton, Tranmere or Rochdale coming down from League One plus other north west clubs like Carlisle, Oldham, Salford and well supported clubs like Bradford City and Plymouth possibly still in the mix - next season could see some decent away followings at the Globe.

A bit pointless, comments liked that sometimes stoke up the opposition, whatever happened needed parking up and forgetting about because in any business "a handshake isn't worth the ink it's not written in"
