I know, it's fantastic. Amazing how these deeply held beliefs can be put to one side to push their agenda.

I read The Telegraph most days. Some of us are intelligent enough to read different sources of information and make reasoned viewpoints.

Proper lying rag.
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/tabloidc ... nning/amp/And here’s me quoting the Daily Mail again retracting it’s lies from the General Election. Article now deleted, correction and apology on page 2. Damage and Boris’s bidding done though.

You can't expect people to read the apology or the retraction once they've believed the lies in the headlines. It's too late.

Stopped buying newspapers around 2013 I read books or play a game of cards at work, and just get my news story’s off all of them and documentary stuff when I get home.
And the Daily Mirror is just as Scummy as The Sun. for Lies and Gossip what ruin people’s life’s.,how people can sit there and slag one news paper off and not another is mental.

Acrimonious? I thought he walked! I mean what sort of an answer did he think he would get asking for a new contract just after we hit the bottom of the league? I think he already knew the answer anyway. Having already been assured of an instant new job too!

The ex-manager continues to experience life at the bottom as Fylde struggle to avoid relegation from the Nationwide League! He wasn’t given a new contact by us when we were bottom of the league and I suspect if Fylde are relegated his contract at Fylde will be terminated!

Good luck to the man then, eh!!(??)
We have our own battle to contend with at present. Relegation is a possibility, but not an option.

Yep, and there are plenty of us. Some just don’t realise, or refuse to accept that it includes them too.

ABOUT MORECAMBE??? It is what non-Morecambe fans will be reading about our club, so I reckon it is relevant to us, don't you?

The Daily Mail is an unpleasant and hate inducing paper. There's a reason why it's constantly being sanctioned by IPSO.
Keith is absolutely justified in bringing this story to our attention - a recently departed manager of the club speaking in a national paper about his departing, with it being labelled as 'acrimonious'.
I appreciate Jim was not treated wonderfully by the new owners, but I think they were well within their rights to hold off on a contract extension considering our league position/form.
Think the article is written in a slightly inflammatory way at the start - Jim saying he felt a little let down (understandably so after the FB poll) has been turned into 'scandalous' and 'acrimonious'. Sports reporting at papers is aside from the politics obviously but a bit of house style still shines through!
But the story of how he was scouted which comes in towards the bottom of the article is a great read! Lovely story being scouted from a pub team to Man City.
