Just goes to show Jimbo has the club selling power, even at lower levels.

Not a bad signing for JB but the player was unable to sign for another EFL club this season so going to AFC was the only local option available to him. Not so sure it was AFC's financial situation that the deal was struck probably more in my opinion due to the fact that he wanted game time and that being a Preston lad the move was ideal.
However JB does have finance to dabble in the transfer market, just hope that for his sake he spends it wisely which will be a new experience and demonstrate whether he his judgement is accurate.

AFC Fylde are in serious trouble and look like they could well be relegated. This would play havoc with the chairman's plans for entry to the Football League by 2022 and could cause problems for the management team. Nothing seems to have improved there since their arrival.

well, while there were comparisons made at Morecambe at the time like “Lewis Hamilton being given shit cars to drive” at Flyde there’s actually decent cars to get into to drive.

I wonder if they have been distracted with cup runs they are still in the trophy and have picked up a few good wins in that.
Funny how under Jim we hardly ever won a cup game.
Do 4 go down out of the conference if they do i cant see them escaping.

yeah 4 go down, Flyde are 2nd from bottom.
can’t really use he FA Cup as an excuse, they were knocked out of that at the start of Jim’s regime, he’d only just took over.

I tell you what, if you thought Jim got a hard time on here then you should look at Fyldes twitter tonight. 2 wins in 16 and they are demanding his sacking.

It was never going to work. I can't believe he went there and they picked him as manager. He isn't good enough let's be honest.

Jim's obviously not cutting it there, and probably wont last long and I feel truly sorry for him, I think I the gloating about it though, is despicable, though totally expected.

Gloating? or it could have been the other way around.
Jim Bentley climbing the table with Money Bags Flyde, and Derek Adams, Poor Old Morecambe bottom two, facing relegation, with you and the pre informed one’s giving it “”see we told you all, no other Manager would do any better””

Jim did a good job for us
But on a personal basis i would take Derek Adams anytime to be manager of Morecambe Fc
Derek has got promotions on his cv and that means a lot in the football business
