Accrington retired his number after he retired at 29. He was one of the best lower league strikers I have seen. I Really feel sorry for him. Hope he gets well soon.

100% agree. Good luck to the bloke. I wonder if him & Kev talk together?

If he were a Morecambe player there would be a great deal of sympathy and support from most of us , and a few arseholes saying "I wish he'd f××k off to Fylde"

Very sad that such a physical talent has been finished by mental health issues! I've put a message of support on his thread on the Accy' forum and stated that it's from all at Morecambe. I wouldn't imagine anyone will have an issue with that even though some would have Accrington as our most 'hated' rivals. Never seen them as that personally (always reserved those sentiments for Barrow, due to many incidents from an eternity ago), fierce rivals yes, but a sort of friendly rivalry none the less.

It's all a state of mind as others have tried to explain, you only need a combination of problems to occur at the same time and it can take you to places you can't imagine,

I wish everyone suffering, the best life possible and go get help.
