What will next season look like?

What's everyone's predictions? Its great that we have some local rivals like Bolton, Barrow etc but isn't it inevitable that we will be playing under very different conditions?
When will the season actually start?
Will there be further disruptions?
Will away fans be allowed?
Will capacities be reduced to allow social distancing?
Will you get chucked out for hugging your mates during goal celebrations?
Thoughts?

I can't see it starting before October.
Let's hope no more disruptions
Would think no away fans would make sense and we could spread fans into the Heart Radio stand
If they reduce as is suggested social distance to 1 metre they could allow clubs to maybe restrict gates to 25% of capacity so for us 1,500 could be spread round the ground
What is it like celebrating a goal ?

That probably sounds like the most sensible plan. I can't see them starting until fans are allowed back. With our average gates we would probably lose a smaller per cent of our income than most.

I think they will try and get the new season away as normal but with greatly reduced attendances to enable distancing. As stated this could suit us better than others. No away fans till Covid is well and truly gone. Prior to that all the ground open to a reduced number of home fans. Say the attendance is limited to 1600 spread around the entire ground we could do that and limit it to season ticket holders/trust members only. Hopefully folk are well versed enough in social distancing to carry out the required protocols without the stewards having to intervene too often. It may also be possible to do hospitality in the main stand albeit with limited numbers. The game would also be available on live view with the home team taking the lions share of the subscriptions. This could work in our favour when playing teams with large fan bases (Bolton, Bradford for example). Not ideal but has got to be better than games in empty stadiums.

How do you prove you are from the same household?
As we are in possibly a +R, we will be the last ones able to travel?
Can't see how you can walk down an aisle of seats and stick to the rules.
No chance of going for a half time pee.
I agree, season will start later and without a crowd providing funds are handed down from somewhere, but even the Premier League will be suffering financially

The players will be going at it full contact right from the off, this is where things make no sense at all as goes the fans

The Premier League will suffer less from playing without a crowd than League 2.

I read somewhere that the Fleetwood owner is looking at ways to let those fans who have season tickets or something similar to be allowed to watch their play off games live in their stadium.
This could prove to be a solution but not one that I'd be totally in favour off.

It's the mixed messages that's causing the problems,
Went into Asda with the wife and we stepped 6 inches off the so called 2m spot at the till and were given short shrift by the checkout assistant and then my wife said to her as we were packing our groceries,
Don't know how I manage then, I've still been working in a school with early years and they get everywhere,
The woman replied but that's what kids do, Precious or what? The wife wasn't amused!

You just have to hope that the number of infections get that low that the risk is minimal. Also that there is a proper track and trace system in place and we also get better at treating it. Basically a lot of ifs

Think it's a bit premature to suggest that there will be no away fans ever again.
Fleetwood's owner reckons he has the solution but it revolves around those with a season ticket....

Very hard to predict exactly what the deal may be with fans next season. Everything is changing pretty constantly. For example, it was initially thought that they would have to isolate players in hotels and have games played at nearby training camps to finish the season. Now regular testing and a restriction on staff/media in the stadium is the measure being deployed and seems to have worked alright in Germany.
In Spain, there are plans to potentially be able to let some spectators in to La Liga games in about 3 weeks time. That would have been unthinkable this soon a month back or so.
As said before, a lot of 'ifs' here. How quickly and effectively can track and trace be deployed? Will there be another spike in cases/deaths? What will government policy be? And in the long term - how quickly will a vaccine be developed and deployed?

There's a lot of talk about a vaccine, but I would like to point out that there's another coronavirus that's been with us for a long time with no successful vaccine ever being found: the common cold. Just saying like...

I was responding to the comment about no away fans "
until COVID is well and truly gone". COVID will never be "completely" gone.
