Most projects will no doubts be mothballed now, seeing INTU properties go to the wall is a reminder of how fragile a situation exists and come another lockdown, which is becoming more of a reality by the day, where will it all end???

Very unlikely that a nationwide lockdown will be carried out but more regional lockdowns in the cities will almost certainly occur. It all depends how lax people become.

People have been lax and that's why we're going backwards, even the Spanish are reaping the rewards of visitors from this country starting it up again there.
Idiots on crowded beaches and that smash up protest have done for all the good work and observations of those with sense.

And Liverpool fans celebrating didn’t help. Fair play to the team but those scenes were a bit silly.

From what I understand the money was in the last government budget and was all set to be announced but good old LCC dragged their feet and their was a hold up with signing off the land. As assurances couldn't be given on the land the announcement had to be delayed and then of course covid happened, lets just hope the money is still there and Sunak didn't dip into it to fund his eat out to help out scheme.

It was Lancaster council who wouldn't support the Winter Gardens grant applications. They really don't like Morecambe do they?

They just want Morecambe to be an extension of Lancaster, stopping anything to do with tourism in Morecambe
