I think we need a specific thread for this: https://www.morecambefc.com/news/2020/august/squad-numbers-announced/

“DEREK Adams has revealed his squad numbers for the 2020/21 season.

1 Jake Turner
2 Kelvin Mellor
3 Stephen Hendrie
4 Nathaniel Knight-Percival
5 Sam Lavelle
6 Harry Davis
7 Jordan Slew
8 Toumani Diagouraga
9 Cole Stockton
10 Aaron Wildig
11 Carlos Mendes-Gomes
12 Mark Halstead
13 Andre da Silva Mendes
14 Alex Kenyon
15 Luke Conlan
16 John O’Sullivan
17 A-Jay Leitch-Smith
18 Ben Pringle
19 Liam McAlinden
20 Adam Phillips
21 Ryan Cooney
22 Ibrahim Bakare
23 Freddie Price”

22 senior players, 2 first-year pros and the third-choice young keeper Mendes

Interesting to see that Kenyon, Conlan and O’Sullivan have been given ‘worse’ numbers - is this a signal that they are second fiddle to Toums, Hendrie and Slew respectively?

Mmm! Phillips and Cooney are also outside the top 11 numbers but that may be because they are loanees?

No matter what number, if the Burnley lad's can continue from where they left off
It's going to be seriously good.

- Conlan from 3 to 15 (with Hendrie taking the no. 3)
- O’Sullivan from 7 to 16 (with Slew taking no. 7)
- Leitch-Smith from 10 to 17 (Wildig taking no.10)

Derek’s not afraid to stamp his authority that’s for sure
