He won't be the only one gone this month that's for sure.

Well I never, Scholes is taking temporary charge
Guess that clears up any confusion or reasoning

Wonder if he’ll last longer than he did at Oldham? I see some papers think Roy Keane is in line for permanent appointment. Wonder if these actions are good for Salford?

Somehow can't see Keane accepting that the level of players at our level will enable him to succeed.
For a starter some will not have a clue what he's on about.....

We can't get ordinary fans into EFL matches because of covid, (the government don't think we have the sense to social distance), yet where's the social distancing in Marky No1's photo, and only one mask between them.

I liked Keane as a player and I like him as a pundit, purely because he says it how it is, although I can't see many of Salford's line up sticking it out if he got the job, can you?

A bit of a thug from what I remember, I’m sure Alf-Inge Haaland will back me up here.

Keane is a terrible pundit who offers no actual insight, and does not have a particularly good track record in management. Especially when you consider the fiasco when he was assistant manager for the Irish national team.
I can't imagine he'd be given the Salford job - they haven't really gone for 'names' previously. I think he'd struggle a lot with League Two players. I feel like he doesn't really grasp the fact that a lot of players just aren't as good as he was, and would just end up shouting at them to be better without actually understanding how to improve them.

I hope they don't notice what a good manager we have although I think Derek is wise enough to avoid the circus that is the Class of 92 and their plastic club.
