Will be interesting to see how DA manages this latest introduction.

Interestingly the EFL are ahead of the Premiership in this development...wonder if they will follow shortly....

One of the rules about the new sub rule is that only 3 breaks during a game for subs will be used. How each club will implement this rule will be interesting to see. Probably the use of subs introduced into a game will happen during the half time break as this will not count as one of the permitted 3 breaks in the game.

Personally it's yet another tinkling with the game that we simply don't need.

I think it’s a very welcome change to the rules for the rest of the season. We have a very competitive squad, but not a large one, so having more subs should help reduce the strain on players we have seen all across Europe. Especially when we are going into potentially the busiest Christmas period of fixtures ever, it should reduce the occurrence of muscle injuries and help avoid injury crises like we had not so long ago.
