***When was the last time we won this many games at home in a full season?

*** Is our improved home form just down to D.A?

*** Why have we been so bad at home. (barring this season, since we moved?

AND FINALLY. It's good to see us ATTACK teams at home. Long may it continue.

Good manager, better players, no hang ups from previous seasons.

Derek Adams giving us a change of attitude, even saying himself that our attitude needs to change in an interview.

A black cloud has been lifted from the ground. The takeovers, a negative attitude and rubbish football turned home games in to something we had to endure rather than enjoy. DA has changed the club, like it or not. The players must love playing for him and some will go to a higher level because of him and the coaching team.

Hopefully this post will escape the censors

It perhaps would have done if you'd not put in the apostrophe.

I 100 percent agree with this BW. It's great to be looking up for a change. What DA has done in the short time he's been here is remarkable. Always made me laugh when people said who could do a better job than the previous manager.

Over the last 5/6 years, we’ve been accustomed to just looking over our shoulder and thinking, “we can lose today and still be 3 points clear of 23rd.” Even when we did find ourselves at the top of the table at the beginning of a couple of seasons, we knew for sure that it was only a blip and were more focused on us already being a bit safer from relegation. Not once have I heard Derek mention relegation, lack of funds, scraping the barrel for players (I can’t believe a certain previous manager actually said that in public!...) - much the contrary! He has changed the entire mindset of the club!

BW put it perfectly - going to home games had started to feel like a chore and just something we had to do incase we did actually win for once and we’d have regretting not going. And when you look at the improvement seen by Wildig, Kenyon, Stockton, CMG, Steve Old etc., the players must love it!

Totally agree with the above.

Have you noticed that a number of former posters no longer are posting since we started winning.... :?: :?: :?:

Dereks home record:

P 18
W 7
D 8
L 3

Averaging 1.61PPG at home, which is more than Sammy Mac (1.59) at home in the Football League 8-)

That's because they are having extreme difficulty in composing the words for the profound gratitude they feel!

You could see from last season he was the man to pull us clear from the mess that had been left. We were 13th in the form table when the season was curtailed.

Derek Adams is changing this football club. I hope this is just the start of something special.

Just sorry that our best season at the Mazuma has coincided with no fans allowed in.
You would hope that crowds would be up around 2,000 every game not including away fans, with more for the local derbies and Boxing Day. Gutting.

It is a good point Freez makes, the crowds would be up with hopefully a few making a return to the ground after a few years away. There would be a real buzz about the place once again. Sadly, it looks like we are to remain in tier 3 for the foreseeable. Lancashire County Council have really sold us down the line.

Well said Freez, that said I am grateful that I renewed my season ticket and that watching the games really gives me a form of escape from all the negativity going on in the world, even if it would be better actually being there in the flesh.
