FA Cup Covid Testing and 14 man squads

Postby redrobo » Sat Jan 02, 2021 2:53 pm

According to the Daily Mail today, the FA are wanting all matches to be completed with at least 14 man squads. In other words if a club can provide 14 Covid free players then the match must go ahead.

Also the FA are to pay for ALL clubs outside of the Premiership for a Covid test 72 hours before any tie.

Therefore assuming that we can guarantee at least 14 fit players the tie against Chelsea 'U23s' :o is likely to go ahead.
