Madness.
9 players brought in, 7 furloughed, and then sack the manager within a month??

At leased they have still got Kelly, who should have been given the job in the first place and also has extra players to pick from.

Talk of interference from the BoD's on team selection and signing of new players. I posted yesterday that having a player like Devitt and expecting him to play football on a pitch that resembled the surface of the Moon is crazy.
I hope they stay up so we can see the games next season but they do look doomed.

Jamie should know by now how to play on that type of pitch, having played for about 11 clubs including newport

Very true although he didn't hang about at Newport for very long

The comms on Saturday were saying the formation was wrong until the second half, seems he wasn’t that popular by the BoD,different views on the direction of the club ? Whatever that means ?

Its all a bit of a shambles - who ever made the decision to hire not so Jolley initially should probably walk too. This was a policy famously advocated by Old Big 'ed (Brian Clough).
Not that I am particularly interested by what goes on across the water - although I appreciative the timing of our fixture as part of this decision, I do wonder what this means for the players they furloughed? The Bluebirds overhauled their squad using the governments job protection scheme, turning it into a government (part) funded severance package. Presumably not so Jolley had an input into bringing the new lads in, and deciding which ones were surplus to requirements(?). Could the Furloughed lads be back, the new lads placed on furlough to save costs? Ridiculous.
Based on our two performances vs Barrow, I personally feel that they have regressed if anything. They were unluckly to lose at our place and played well with 10 men courtesy of an incorrect sending off. Conversely, they were lucky to be still in the game at halftime on Saturday. Although they are rivals, I do hope that they stay up - but obviously they have their work cut out now. Interesting to see how much Southend United have improved when we play them in the April Shrimp Derby, because they obviously have based on their league positioning and recent results. Based purely on the game at Roots Hall at the start of the season, to my mind they were the poorest side we have faced to date.

I don't think Mr Jolly will be using Barrow for any references in the future. To be honest, after this interview he will do well to get a job in football again.

He must have a very good interview technique but it didn't take long for the BoD's to suss him out, the fans to suss him out, the players to suss him out and the new signings sussed him out. He may have a career in double glazing sales in the future.

I read somewhere else that he was tricked into thinking the girl was 19 by her and her friends, I don’t know the final outcome, but I think a few news sources apologised when that was revealed.

Bristol Shrimp mentioned in today's match thread about their manager. Personally I never like to see a man lose his job, and although Carlisle played well today, it's the score line the matters. Could their manager be in danger ? !!!!!!

I am with you in that I don't like to see managers sacked, but this wouldn't surprise me, they have been in awful form and I believe Keith Curle is available? If he does get sacked, would that be the second time a Carlisle manager has lost his job following a defeat to us in recent times?
