The worst that can happen is we lose.
Even then, there are a couple of games left and it could change again.
We draw, we cement a place in the play-offs, we win, it’s in our hands.
So, we can’t implode the season today, but we can go a long way to deciding it.
My feeling is Bolton will be happy with a point and back themselves in the last two.
Even with Sully missing, we were determined and focussed at Grimsby.
Bolton will want the lions share of possession today, and to dictate the pace of the game, and with their players are a capable of doing so. However an early goal by us changes that dynamic.
Just saying!!
Up the Shrimps.

As Freez says it's not the end if we lose but I'm still very shaky about it. It means so much if we manage a win. Huge game

If we lose I will be disappointed, but it will not be the end of what has been a fantastic season for us.
I think I will be more nervous if we manage to win because our destiny really will be in our own hands.

Proud. Proud of the efforts of the Management and of the players.
Thankful to the owners and the BoD's for keeping this club going in these tough times.
The sadness that we all feel with not being able to stand on the terrace and shout and sing in support of the lads is probably the overriding emotion this morning though. I try to put it to the back of my mind but it is horrible. The town would have been rammed with fans of both sides today and Fortress Mazuma would have been a sell out. The buzz would have been tangible.

Fortress Buzzuma
Very excited and very nervous. Having been to just about all of the big matches over the last five decades it's so odd to be excluded.
Though the probable reality is that it's a win / win today.
Lose or draw and we almost certainly will get a play off place and the possibility of getting in to see this team this season and show our appreciation.
Win and we will be odds on for an automatic and League 1 next season.
Bloomin Nora!!!

The other 'big game' today is Exeter v Newport. If Exeter win, they leapfrog Newport and in to the play-offs. Newport win and Exeter's play-off chances almost disappear. Why is this important? Because Bolton's next game is against Exeter. They could be playing an Exeter feeling confident and determined to make the play-offs, or a disillusioned Exeter, beginning to think about their summer holiday? Hopefully, Bolton have two really tough games coming up now. Obviously, a draw today will be better news for Bolton than us, but two draws for Bolton in their next two games would hand the advantage to us.
Come on EXETER!
As for us, I can't wait! Sickening that we can't be there, what an atmosphere it would be! But we're looking confident and hitting form at the perfect time. By all accounts, Bolton were nervy against Carlisle and were lucky to win. It would be a great time for them to crumble!
COME ON MORECAMBE!!!

Which division were the mighty (!) BWFC in when we were promoted? We have arrived at a point where we play them in the SAME league!! Two good sides in League Two full of9predominately) League Two players. On our day as DA says we can beat anyone on the pitch, today is THE day! COYS

The older I get the more nervous I become and today is like no other in as much my old ticker is working overtime in expectation.
Not sure how the game will pan out but Bolton will prove to be a strong test without doubt.
Whatever happens come 4.45 this season has been superb if somewhat unexpected. We've so far stayed underneath the radar but if we win then our profile will be open to intense scrutiny like never before and that is when the pressure will really be on us.
Assuming we do get promoted it's guaranteed that we will resume the expectations of the media for a relegation place...but such is life and one that we are all too familiar with.

Above all else, PROUD. It has been a very odd season with no fans at grounds, but brilliant with the lads on the pitch and Derek at the helm! Excited about todays match, and the remaining run-in. Whatever happens, it has been above all expectations and brilliant! Todays top of the league game against fellow Lancastrians of the Wanderers shows how far MFC have progressed, today on a competitive footing with them. I really like the positive calm approach of Derek Adams, unphased and focused on the game of the moment and full of praise and encouragement for his players. Just the right attitude. ENJOY THE RIDE! Feeling very down at the moment but would prefer to be still in with a chance of promotion rather than a relegation battle or mid table mediocrity.
Just hate the way that Bolton have cheated their way into getting the 3 points when their play hardly deserved it.
So very proud of OUR lads but felt a number of bad decisions over the season have gone against us particularly the number of questionable sending offs. Also the number of critical injuries at the tale end of the season appear to have halted out push for promotion.
What will be will be but like every other SVer I'm so very very proud of what DA and his players have achieved to date and who knows what awaits us in the weeks to come.

Big part of me feeling sh1te. Absolutely gutted being so close to automatic promotion. Rest of me feels excited that we still have a great chance of making the play offs although as we know they are a bit of a lottery. Just hoping there might be one last twist in the tale.

Just so long as it twists the right way.

I can only think of Sam's that was a "
questionable" sending off. Some of them, like yesterday, were very silly, but the ref got the decision right in terms of the law. We've had some very dodgy refereeing decisions in terms of penalties either given when they shouldn't be (Cambridge) or not given when they should (Port Vale). But the ill-discipline is of our own making. Perhaps that's the price we pay for having really pumped up, determined & enthusiastic players?

What a difference a week makes. Absolutely buzzing. Maybe just maybe there is one last twist in the tale.

Certainly the nerves have gone. Todays win has taken much of the pressure off and i think there will be more pressure on Bolton than on us. We've shown that we can come through to win even under pressure. Can Bolton?
