Fans at the Bradford game...

I have read on Facebook a few different threads about the possibility of fans turning out to applaud the team on Saturday and wondered if the club could organise something?
Not necessarily to attract revenue, or to put themselves in the firing line of legality on their premises etc.
Could the club enrol a few fans to become volunteer stewards to assist with lining Westgate and Morecambe Road and possibly the Gateway (if there are enough supporters willing to do it) and it can be organised that fans stand in bubbles or 2 m apart, lining the streets approaching the ground - either before or after the game?
It would be a compromise for the fans who want to attend and the club who most likely would be reluctant to have the fans present.
Just a thought.
Could of course, be an impressive sight for all the passing traffic and maybe attract some press and media coverage?

Realistically I think some fans will be there no matter what, whether there's a club or police statement against it some people will turn up. Not to mention the pubs being open, people aren't going to sit at home if we pull it off.

Better that the club and authorities plan for the inevitable rather than try and keep fans away, lets just make sure we're better behaved than Bolton. Even if we lose it's been a fantastic season so the players should be applauded into and out of the stadium no matter the result.

Any such gathering would be illegal under the current regulations. The club can't be seen to encourage an illegal gathering. If something changes, then I'm happy for someone from the club to contact me and I'll re-open this thread but until then, people need to be very clear that no matter how well-meaning, or how unreasonable the Regulations are, this gathering is against the law.
