Crying Today

I have supported my home town club Morecambe for 38 years even travelled from Cambridge when I lived there to watch the team in the Northern Premier League

I know I've not seen eye to eye with some people and have been negative at times but like everyone else I want this club to achieve good things

When the final whistle went today I couldn't hold back my emotions and let out lots of tears (joyous one's of course)

Morecambe Football Club will always be my club

Sorry if I have rubbed people up the wrong way at times nothing is meant by it ... I will start to be more positive from now on because we have all got a manager a team and a club to be very very proud of

Don't change mate. I don't think you are negative actually, maybe just a different outlook and a bit pessimistic but a little caution is often better than reckless optimism. Personally I agree with most of what you say, I would say this season has been incredible and has definitely surprised me even though I would say I'm fairly optimistic a lot of the time, it's understandable for us to be cautious of a game such as Exeter away as generally we're fighting at opposite ends of the table but we won fairly comfortably there I thought. Sorry I rambled I had only intended to say don't change lol.

Everyone has their opinions and we all want to stand by them! As long as they’re not offensive, then keep being you! Often I haven’t agreed with some of your posts however no-one can doubt that you’re a true, passionate Morecambe fan and just want the best for the club.

Wembley here we come!

Remember those days well John. It is incredible where we've come in that period, where we could only dream of 1,000 fans at a game, now we're frustrated because 4,000 tickets next week isn't enough for everyone who wants one!

Happy days!

I was probably on a Bangor run with you, and maybe Buxton (or Matlock?) Was it Bangor on a Tuesday night when Andy Hollins got in to a fight with a director? I think that led to an end for fans travelling with the players & directors!

Do you think journalists are reading this forum John? 8-)

"It was not that long ago the number of supporters travelling to away games was so small they just hopped on the team bus".
