Ticketmaster problems and individual club allocations

As much as I love my club the thought of a car or coach journey to Wembley on a Bank Holiday Monday doesn't thrill me at all so I've made the reluctant decision not to go and watch on TV.....sad but just couldn't cope with the journey.

My wife also threatened me with a divorce saying at 70 I must be mad travelling all that way.....

So that's an extra 2 tickets available.... :D

As for Ticketmaster it seems that all other clubs using the same booking system are experiencing similar problems.

At the moment not sure about the number of tickets issued to each club in EFL1 and 2 but am going to check it out. It could well be that each club takes a number of tickets for their own use ie Players family, officials, sponsors etc.

The following clubs in the EFL1 and 2 finals have been allocated the following allocations.

Blackpool 3951
Lincoln 3879
Newport 4021 out of a capacity of 9951. which leaves 1979 for EFL use I suspect.

So even differing numbers there although as I suggested I suspect it is due to club officials etc and their requirements.

For EFL1 final the ticket prices start at £55.

Both above are having to use Ticketmaster booking and are operating similar ticket allocations as our club.

Booking fee per ticket is £2.40 with a Digital postage fee of £1.25 per ticket.

Would be going with father, but he would have to wait till tickets go on GS, so for this reason and not been able to sit next to/near each other, i won't be going. Gutted how much we've missed out on this season

Why don't you try to book two next to each other in general sale if that's the case?

Each to their own, but this is Wembley! Only the third time we've ever played their in our 100 year history - and no guarantees that it will ever happen again in our lifetime. Football league sides Accrington Stanley and Crawley Town have never played at Wembley (old or new) and many others are yet to visit the stadium since its redevelopment.... including famous ones like Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers.

The great Pele once said:

"As a player, my biggest regret is that I have never played in the cathedral of football: Wembley Stadium"
