@jackabouting
Complete incompetence of the highest order, to be told there is 2000 tickets left, to be around 350 in the queue, to then be told there is none left, to then find out people going on later got some.

Got to front of queue, timed out, got back in, sold out!! Have kept trying but still showing sold out! Then just seen on FB that some literally bought 8 (eight) tickets in the past 15 minutes.......fuming!!!!!

For me EFL have a lot to answer for in using Ticketmaster.....surely it would have been a lot easier for each club to have been given 5000 tickets and for those to be sold DIRECTLY by each club to fans in person {or on line with the club} like it was for the previous Wembley game. To have to go through so many hoops is ridiculous the EFL in conjunction with Ticketmaster have messed up what should and could have been such a relatively easy process.

Unfortunately the EFL will take no responsibility for this mess but leave each club to sort out.

Our club's staff (all 4 of them) have been magnificent under the leadership of our Commercial Manager and deserve the thanks of all having to work within a system (Ticketmaster) that has plainly failed to deliver what should have been so simple.

Chiming in from the other side of the ocean to just say how much I hate Ticketmaster. Any time an event/group/team has moved from their own service to Ticketmaster I've had a terrible time trying to buy tickets.

You'd have a strong argument for saying it definitely puts individuals who are less confident with IT at a massive disadvantage in the rush to buy tickets.
I use IT a lot through work , but accounts / emails / logins / passwords etc. isn't everybody's cup of tea.
Think it would be fairer to have the option of purchasing tickets in person.
Not everybody will have had somebody at hand to help neither.
I'm lucky in having younger children who help if I get stuck.
Nothing to do with the club , I know , but some may have missed out because they struggled with the IT ?

Agree, none of this technology bollocks in 07, we sold just less than 12,000 tickets over the counter for cash, hassle free, standing in a queue in the car park at the portacabin at Crusty Pie! And no £2.40 a ticket paid to Ticketmaster for the privilege!

Don't forget the £1.25 per transaction for Digital format.

We seem to be in agreement about how easier it was way back in 2007.... :D

EFL and Ticketmaster have made a relatively simple process......extremely difficult for some.
