Does anybody know what the club gets in terms of financial support / league sponsorship by being in EFL1 compared to that of EFL2?

It may be significant in terms of affordability and budgets going forward.

Pre covid L2 teams got £470K, L1 got £700K in solidarity payments not a lot of difference really.

Looking at 19/20 our totals from the Premier League were
Club £450K
Community £100K
Academy £430K

Total of £980K, which will have helped a lot towards Jasons statement of being close to stability

In comparison Accy got a total of !.2M

We will be able to budget for larger attendances.

In the 2019/2020 season the 3 lowest average crowds were :-

Fleetwood 3,130

Burton 2,986

Accrington 2,862

I think our hardcore would be on a par or above any of those so I would be hopeful we could average over 3,000 next season.

I'd like to see some investment behind the away end. The concourse is *REALLY* narrow, in fact I always wondered how it was passed as safe. If [say] a fight broke out or there was a medical emergency in the toilet area, there is a potential for a crush. Not sure how easy it would be, but perhaps a bar may be do-able? Even one of those little 'pop-up' stands? That would bring in more income but definitely require more space.

Don't forget Watford and Norwich have gone up so forfeit their parachute payments. I believe this money is divided up between the other EFL clubs with EFL 1 clubs getting a fair bit more than EFL 2 clubs.

Every little helps.

UTS.

I thought at one point I read that the money basically just disappears when the clubs do that? Hope we can get it though.
