Ipswich 2 Morecambe 2 [Stockton x2]

Postby RapidShrimp » Sat Aug 07, 2021 1:12 pm

Ipswich lineup: Hladky, Vincent-Young, Nsiala, Woolfenden, Penney, Harper, Evans (C), Burns, Chaplin, Fraser, Pigott. SUBS: Holy, Donacien, Dobra, El Mizouni, Barry, Bonne, Norwood.

Shrimps lineup: Letheren, Cooney, O’Connor (C?), Delaney, Gibson, Toums, McCalmont, McLoughlin, Gnahoua, McDonald, Stockton. SUBS: Andrésson, Lavelle, Mellor, Leigh, Phillips, Jones, Ayunga

I suppose this isn’t an ‘iFollow thread’ anymore, but still a place to discuss the action!

Some surprises in our XI, but UTS!

Think it's significant that Sam is on the bench. Possible news of a pending bid has unsettled him.

Aaron out injured.

Surprised but pleased Cole gets the nod to start up top.

Or, it is a done deal, so not risking him?

Lots of Ed Shearon songs being played here. Roasting hot and big black clouds at the same time. Proper, old stadium. League One, we're here!

Struggling to do much with the ball so far, but tough to be critical when we're in League One!

What a nice, individual goal. Nothing between us at the moment.

Love seeing Robinson immediately grab his clipboard during the break in play to show the players his thoughts.

Slightly last-ditch defending but I can't remember Letheren making a save? Feeling much more optimistic than I was expecting!
