Supposedly they have sold all of their 1700 tickets so it should be a sizable attendance!

Preston fans are on about protesting against Risdale at tomorrows game. Lots of hostility and anger towards Sir Peter and the way he is running the football club for owner Trevor Hemmings.

Captain told a section of the away support at Huddersfield on Tuesday to f*** off, post-match, allegedly. Not a happy camp at all. If they don't get something from their home tie with Peterborough on Saturday, Tuesday could be a decent time to play them...confidence will be shot, fans ready to turn on them the second it goes even slightly wrong.

From our website: “The club will be communicating with Preston North End to cross reference any new supporters who have purchased tickets in the home end to make sure that they are not away supporters.

Should we find that any away supporters have purchased tickets in the home areas of the ground, these tickets will be cancelled and will not work with the automated turnstile system.”

Sounds a sensible way of doing it because, as you say, there are A LOT of fairly local PNE fans, so just checking postcodes like we did for the Tranmere play-off home leg wouldn’t be helpful.

I've heard from a close friend of PNEs captain that the unrest is due to spill over internally very soon. Tom barkhuizen was out spoken about the state of the club and then was nowhere to be seen in the next two squads. 'Injured' ... It's a shame for a football fan. Hate to see a Lancashire club, historic one at that, look in trouble.

They put everything in one pot to get promoted a few years ago and it seems to have floored the club. Still shocks me every time I see highlights the sheer amount of empty seats in deepdale, given their level. A prime example of a stagnant club with no ambition outside of the first team.

However the club captain shouting abuse at fans is disgusting and I'd be sticking him in the reserves; they waste money anyway. There was talk on a Liverpool forum that Van de Berg who is on loan there could be recalled due to the unsettling nature, not what Klopp wanted him to experience.

Seem to remember Risdale did a similar thing at Leeds and that saw them drop down the leagues
