James says we’ve made just short of a million quid from the sales of CMG (500k?), Sam (250k?) and academy centre half Jack Kingdon (?? to Man United) - great piece of business from the club and hopefully some sell-on clauses?! Very impressive interview as always.

And by very rough maths that million quid nicely tops up the playing budget, and then some.

Rationale behind cheap tickets is also very interesting. Staffing levels the same regardless of crowd so stadium might as well be full than 2/3s empty.

Players 'on the right length of contract' too. That's why two year deals have been generally offered. If a Cooney or similar flies, we're protected. If they don't do so well, we're not stuck with them.

Thanks Dave, after a week without proper footy that has got me in the zone for Saturday.

Passionate as ever, Mr Wakefield

James Wakefield! Wow!! Helping to take our club to a whole new level. Talks so much common sense, sounds very much like Martin Lewis, in speech and actions, and now putting plans into action to keep the momentum going. We are humbled.

Certainly a pleasant change from the PMG era when he seemed to keep us in the dark deliberately.

We are so lucky to have such dedicated fans at the sharp end.

Why did i ever worry about the transfer fees for Carlos and Sam.....I should have known that the BoDs would have done right by the club and the players.

Excellent....
