What a crazy league this is ….

End of tonight we could stand anywhere between 5th and 20th

Bloody refs!

If the Doncaster referee had done his job, in all likelihood, Doncaster would have been bottom on one point and we'd have been fifth! (Red card for their keeper and a penalty for the rugby tackle)

So how did that work out then?

Mid table after ten games is a brilliant achievement

Well done to all involved

I am really enjoying League 1 football. The quality, the pace and the ruthlessness of it has been pure excitement. Teams come to win and the quality of some of the players is really a big step up from L2.

Really fun league to watch - lots of good quality players and good managers trying to implement their styles of play.

Such a joy to see us competing well in this division.

I prefer to think of 11th as top half ;)
As others have said, it’s been a great experience so far in this division. There’s more actual ‘football’ played and of course it helps that we’ve managed to win a few!

Morecambe FC competing and playing exciting football in league 1, who’d have thought it.

I think one of the big differences in the quality of manager with good track records and how most want to play good football.

There seems to be no journeymen managers who are falling down the leagues.

The fans have also stepped up to League 1 as well. The noise used to be a group of 20 or 30 lads singing and it sounded like that. This season there has been a real roar from behind the goal with some participation from the sides. The Robbo's Red Army chant last night made me stand and smile, never heard anything like that noise before at a home game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted that we are where we are, but we have only played one of the top 8 teams so far.

You have a point but I think you could also argue that come the end of the season Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday will be in the top 8 and we didn't do too badly against them. Before the season started I like many was fearful whether we could handle the step up in class. I'm happy now having been at 9 of the 10 games that we have players who have the skills and technical abilities required but also a whole heap of grit and sheer will to win. The management ain't half bad either!

Yes but after we have played those top 8, we will be above them, starting with Wycombe on Saturday :D

Totally agree.
The season ticket deal is paying off,

resulting in a massively increased crowd,
resulting in a better atmosphere,
resulting in more people joining in,
resulting in a better match-day experience,
resulting in more fans 'getting the habit',
resulting in better support for the players.

The Mazuma Stadium finally feels like 'home'. 8-) :D :D

The season ticket deal has been an outstanding achievement and those who thought about it and sat down and worked out the financial implications are to be congratulated. Wouldn't be surprised if other clubs took note and did something similar next season. It's attracted more fans on a regular basis and proves that if you get the price right then fans will support the idea.

Doing the ticket deal was perfect timing after a successful season on the ipad, culminating in Wembley and League One.
3 years ago a ticket could have been £50 and we wouldnt have had as many takers to watch some of the dross that was served up

The pricing of season tickets has been a game changer but it is only one of a few reasons why the good times are finally at the Mazuma. The overall experience is vastly improved on and off the pitch, Social media output is top notch and constant which adds to a tangible feel good factor about the place. The club have nailed it thus far and long may it continue.
