Below sums up the general thinking of their fans post match....

Enjoyable game! I thought Morecambe were great and it was a really hard fought win. Disappointing that we conceded so much of the midfield at times- we missed Brannagan, but I think Gorrin’s position could be upgraded.

Good 3 points that - Morecambe definitely not the relegation fodder everyone assumed they would be. Matty on absolute fire, Sykes has found his scoring boots, Seddon's best performance of the season after struggling for a bit. That'll bloody do lads.

Just a pity that for all our good play once again the lack of concentration cost us at least a point....

We had 18 efforts at goal compared with 15 by Oxford so not as bad a performance as some have said.

I don't think the keeper was at fault with their goals but he did give away a penalty needlessly.

Like I’ve said previously don’t think we are far away

Some fans seem to forget we are playing at higher level this season

It’s all very well opposition fans praising us but we continue to slide down the league and into trouble. We have a lot to offer in League 1 but our regular defensive lapses are proving costly. The manager and players need to sort this out and quickly if we are to stay in League 1. The manager talks a good job and we need to see the talk become an improvement on the pitch.
