Doncaster predictions (if on)

Doncaster predictions (if on)

Postby Redalert1970 » Thu Dec 30, 2021 3:21 pm

Doncaster have played 11 away league games - scored 3 conceded 26

Morecambe 1 Doncaster 1

Att 3300 including 400 from Doncaster

Just listened to Robbo and he said hopefully Stockton and Mcalmont back for sunday (possibly no phillips or cooney who as been in hospital with tonsilitis

Robbo also hoping to have at least one new player in for the Doncaster game and hoping to ship some out

Also said STOCKTON going no where / no pressure to sell and the club have had no phone calls / approaches for him

I love Robbo and you can see he is hurting like the fans right now (some people say he talks a good game but i think hes got so much passion and he wants the team / club to win

We could do with the game been called off so there is more time to bring new faces in.

My guess is the newcomer will be Ricki Lamie the Motherwell centre half. No experience in the EFL but played for several Scottish clubs. Will he be good enough if he comes to the Shrimps. We shall see!

Was confident for this game and the Crewe one, however no longer confident. Crewe were one of the worst teams I've ever seen and they way we lost was quite worrying, if Cole is back I'll say 1-1 if not 1-0 defeat.

might be better if it is called off, so with can get to the transfer window with more points to play for with better players signed up.

One interesting stat about the game on sunday

Cole Stockton (scored 13 league goals)

Doncaster Rovers (scored 13 league goals)

Just shows how much we need Cole in the team virtually every week

This could be a real confidence swinger. If we score first we might go on and score 3 or 4. If they score first we might concede as many.
I'm guessing we don't get a kick in the swingers and win 3-1.

1-2 loss unfortunately, and I dont see how the transfer window can be viewed with optimism, the manager has brought in 19 players that arent good enough so far, so what are the odds on him bringing in half a dozen better players in this window?

So your saying every player Robbo has brought in isn’t good enough

Sorry but that’s total b…..ks

Greg Leigh
Alfie Mcalmont
Jon Obika

Just to name three are all good enough for league 1

O Connor has slowly got better

Both Mcloughlin`s are steady away as well

Personally also think Ayunga will improve

Not sure I would include Obika on the list of good signings made by Robbo. I realise he has missed a lot of games through injury but at the moment the jury is out- he lacks pace, hasn’t shown much skill and doesn’t look a natural finisher.
