We Have Already Had A Few Bids Rejected For Him.
Now With The Money From The Latest Sales Then I Wonder If Sammy Will Be Making An Improved Bid.
Another Goalscoring Midfielder

I don't think another midfielder is absolute priority at the moment - but we don't know what Sammy's thinking and I notice Craig Stanley hasn't played the last couple of games.
He may go back and do some sort of deal with Accy, I suppose, if he thinks Craney would add something different.
He's also said that yet another striker might be on the 'wanted' list.
(Just a little point, Tenerife, are you using some keyboard that puts an upper case letter at the start of every word?)

Bet Stanley will be lining up some decent buys with all that cash, Craney although brilliant on his day could easily be forgotten for that amount.

Now he's gone and can't be ours the rumour I heard went as follows. We agreed to sign him for £85,000 or roughly what Accy bought him back from Swansea for. The single stumbling block was his salary, which was believed to be £1,600 or £1,800 a week. This was the reason why Stanley wanted to offload him and why didn't sign him. - Of course only a rumour.
I think he's a great player and unfortunately this is the second time we've missed out. I'd love to have seen him in a Morecambe shirt and is one who imposes himself on a game - something sorely lacking on Saturday.

When I was working in Blackburn I heard that Craney was being paid up to £3,000 per week

If true, shocking when you consider they averaged 1634 through the gates last season... Chelski-esqe-sustainability.
Craney is a class apart but a left winger is where we need to splash the cash.
