Plea for help.

Hello all,

I'm trying to trace, or at least find out the current well being of a Morecambe fan (Keith) who after the pandemic has completely disappeared from the scene.

We started standing together about thirty odd years ago, always behind the goal, a small group consisting of Nigel (from the bar under the stand). Nigel's dad Alan and Steve who worked the markets on the front plus various others. I haven't seen Steve for a while but he was very poorly with heart problems when I last met him and attending games was a major effort for him.

Anyway at the end there was just me and Keith. I never did know his surname he was just Keith. He was a regular prior to the pandemic but I haven't seen him since the crowds were allowed back in.

The only info I can give on him was he was in his seventies, originally from Yorkshire (still had a Yorkshire twang) and enjoyed walking. He worked as an HGV driver and latterly at the Reebok factory on Whitelund, prior to his retirement. He and his missus had a campervan in which they went on jaunts to the South of Spain when the worst of the winter set in. He was a regular at the Jubilee Club in Torrisholme and I used to drop him off there after games to meet his missus.

He did know a lot of folk at the games so I'm hoping someone can fill me in with some info about how he is.

Hoping for good news!

Thankyou in anticipation.

I remember Keith Harrison also, now he has posted on Facecloth, was a Shrimps fan in the dark days of the 80’s. Glad he is ok! Good news is always welcome.

Brilliant news that, thanks for the information folks! Really glad Keith is well because I was starting to worry with the Covid issues of the last couple of years. He was a regular when we were a bit 'crap' and now we are a bit 'good' he's disappeared so I was beginning to worry.

I'll try to find him on Facebook now I know his surname.

Thanks again. :D
