Which scenario would have the bigger home attendence over a season?
I'd prefer a League One relegation scrap every time! I still struggle to believe that we've been playing Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday & Ipswich as peers. Stay up, and play Derby next season???
As for which scenario would have bigger home attendances, League One, simply because it would be higher from match one, whereas, in League Two we'd lose some home fans, who would then begin to come back as the season went on and we were winning games. I hope the club
VERY QUICKLY offer an excellent season ticket package for next season so we keep as many as possible from this season. As I said elsewhere, I'd like to the club to recognise the financial challenges that many people are facing (or will be soon) and offer something that makes it easier for people to renew. For example 3x£60 in June, July & August would be an increase in season ticket price, but easier for many people to pay.
Morecambe v Sunderland in the final league game of the season. When we played them almost exactly ten years earlier, in the League Cup, I wonder if anyone watching us against Premier League opposition, would have believed we'd be in the same league now?
