Yep must say I have enjoyed his coverage in the ground also,at least he knows how to pronounce Fané
As both Swids and hospital radio ( beyond radio ) both say fane
If we have to put up with hospital radio next season let’s get freeze and coops back instead of the inane chatter from salmon and his Co- com
Oh he played a Hollywood pass
Oh ayunga the juggernaut
Even announced a free kick to charlton when the ball hit the ref
Rant over

I don't understand the reluctance to pronounce Ousmane's surname (well I do but it's daft isn't it). We've been calling our physio Farny for ever so what's the problem with Farnay?
A word in support of the media team, the interviews now are great. They ask relevant questions based on what the fans are discussing on here or social media, so it does help bring club and fans closer. They just need to master the art of random waffling in the live commentary. I do miss all the stuff about roadkill and biscuits, but maybe that's something that comes with experience :D

Must admit, I wondered what they were watching at that point. Ball hits ref. Restart with an uncontested drop ball. Ref even told them to pass the ball backwards. Dave Salmon goes all Chris Kamara on us... "free kick to Charlton"
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

So how did that work out then?

In reply, thanks for the support. And just for the record, the filmed and recorded interviews of the manager were taken over by Matt Rushton the media man for IFollow two seasons before Jim Bentley left. So we didn’t do the interviews for our last 3 seasons.

To be fair, it did sound like they had a restricted view. Still, absolutely nothing on Freez and Glen! Miss that so much!

I was approached by a staff member and told when we signed him it was Fane (Fayne), not 'Farnay' and that was how I should pronounce it. I will be disappointed if that is incorrect. I will double check before Monday.

I have been told that it is 'Fayne'. He was asked on his first day how it was pronounced and that is how he pronounced it. I guess he should know! Straight from the horses mouth!

I will let Quinny know. ;)
